Terms / Conditions / Legalese

As you might expect, there are always some terms and conditions that go along with any adventure. So here’s our list.

  • First and Foremost, we are definitely weather dependent. We will always try to get underway to accomodate your reservation, but there are times when it just won’t be enjoyable or might not be safe. Since safety is one of our top concerns, we won’t ever go out under dangerous conditions.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any trip for whatever reasons that we may have in our sole discretion. In the event that WE have cancelled your trip, we will refund the entirety of your purchase price. We will contact you as soon as we have decided to cancel so that you will have as little inconvenience as possible. However, sometimes we can’t make the decision until right up to departure time.
  • If you cancel your reservation the following applies: In order to obtain a full refund you must cancel prior to 48 hours before your reservation is scheduled to depart. If you cancel between 47 and 24 hours before your scheduled departure, we will issue you a 50% refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will not receive any refunds. All refunds based on your cancellations will be minus the convenience booking fee.
  • You may opt to take a refund to your credit card, or take a credit that you can apply to a future reservation. Refunds to your credit card are processed by a third party, and may take several days to appear on your card.
  • We reserve the right to deny boarding to anyone that we feel would be detrimental to the other customers on board, or to the crew. We can make that decision in our sole discretion, and for whatever reason we feel is appropriate. If we deny boarding we will issue that person a complete refund, but we are not obligated to give that person a credit toward any future booking.
  • We also reserve the right to stop whenever and wherever it becomes necessary, in our sole judgment, to put a passenger ashore if they are being disruptive to the enjoyment of other passengers onboard. If we do so, we will refund 50% of that person’s ticket price, exclusive of the convenience booking fee.
  • We have a complete array of Coast Guard approved safety items on board. There may not be sufficient space on board to accomodate other items that you may bring with you. In that event, again in our sole judgment, we may request that you leave those items on the dock or in your car.
  • We are not responsible for any personal items that you might lose overboard, or leave on the boat. We will remind passengers at the end of each cruise to be sure to bring off any items that they may have brought on board.
  • If alcohol is available on your particular cruise, we may refuse service to anyone that we feel is not in appropriate condition to consume alcohol. This includes, but is not limited to; pregnant women, disruptive passengers, minors, sick passengers, etc. Refusal of service is in our sole discretion. Refusal of alcohol service shall not be a reason for a refund of your ticket price.
  • In the event that the boat has a mechanical issue at the dock, we may delay boarding or cancel the trip at our discretion. Delayed boarding will not result in a refund, but a cancellation will be handled as above.
  • In the event that we have a mechanical issue while underway, we may shorten our cruise (at our discretion), or terminate the cruise completely. If we do, we will make appropriate refunds to your ticket price.
  • In the event of a mechanical failure that causes us to terminate the cruise away from our home dock, we will endeavor to get you back to the dock as quickly as possible, either through embarking you on an alternate boat, or dropping all the passengers at a dock not owned by us. In that case we will arrange for transportation back to our dock as quickly as possible. A refund of your ticket price will be your sole remedy for any cruise cancelled after we leave the dock.
